Sonja Loner

Here is some more information about Loretta's life and tragic death from SKA South Africa copied from their facebook page:

Loretta Steyn The South African SKA Project is deeply saddened by Loretta's passing. Loretta died in the arms of her her love, and life partner, Adrian, after a vehicle accident in the Northern Cape. Adrian's oldest son, Barend, also died in the accident.

Loretta had become a good and special friend to many at the SKA project over the years and she will be missed.

Loretta was a beautiful and passionate lady, and talented in so many areas - design, photography, cooking, gardening .... Her home and studio and FB posts were a testament to her passion for life and creativity. Loretta so loved Africa - its people, its wildlife and its landscapes, and contributed through her work and photography to others appreciation of our beautiful continent.

Loretta thank you for the excellent work you have done over the years for the SKA Project. I genuinely believe that your creativity and commitment to us contributed to the project's success.

Our thoughts are with Adrian, and his and Loretta's families and friends at this really difficult time. We know there are no words sufficiently adequate to help you through this time, but know that Loretta loved you all very very much.

Loretta we will miss you.
